Inclusivity Matters

ALL students, no matter their capabilities, should play with and besides their classmates.

The benefits of having an inclusive playground are immeasurable!

An inclusive playground can be a game-changer when it comes to children's social, physical, cognitive and emotional development.  Inclusive play reduces stigma, promotes collaboration, cooperation and friendships among children and communities!

Side-by-side play increases opportunities for social interaction (verbal and non-verbal) and developing friendships.  Being included in social play means being accepted, valued, and respected as part of a group or community, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.

Inclusive playgrounds are good for all of our students!
